The deadline was March 1st. If you’d like to submit proposals for the 2011-12 season look for an early 2011 deadline.

 

The 621 Gallery is a 3000 sq.ft. contemporary art gallery in Tallahassee, Florida. It was established in 1981 and regularly has more than 1500 visitors per month. The gallery is located in an art park along with 80 studios, galleries and shops. It’s within walking distance of Florida State University, Florida A&M University and the Florida state capitol. The First Friday openings are huge parties.

 

The main gallery is 77’ x 30’ with a 20’ ceiling and track lighting. No air conditioning. Our other gallery is 31’ x 14’ for one-person or smaller group exhibitions.

 

We are seeking proposals from artists and curators for the 2010/11 season. Individuals should apply but may be paired with other artists (there’s a lot of space).
