The 621 Salon is a space for writers at every stage of their journey to gather, share, and connect. We aim to foster community between students of FSU, FAMU, and TCC as well as the general population and encourage risk-taking and vulnerability. The Salon is hosted by 621 Gallery in Railroad Square on the third Thursday of every month at 7 pm. We are always looking for new authors and audience members to strengthen Tallahassee’s writing community. Anyone and everyone is welcome to submit!

Submissions are due a week before the Salon and range from short stories, songs, poems, chapters, and more. When submitting, please keep in mind the length of the pieces and wait every third month when resubmitting a piece so everyone has a chance to read. Any piece submitted is read and used only for the purposes of the 621 Salon and all rights to the pieces submitted are retained by the artist.

If you would like to read at a 621Salon event, please submit your work using the link below and if you have any questions please email us at: 621literarysalon@gmail.com
